Tania Tassone
My professional experience includes several years working as an occupational therapist and mental health clinician in various mental health clinics in Canada.
I’ve supported people coping with stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma through the use of modalities such as CBT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Relaxation Training, Mindfulness and Therapeutic Yoga.
Since my late teenage years, I have been on a journey of healing, personal growth, and spiritual development. I used to experience severe anxiety, fatigue, chronic brain fog, low self-esteem, and other physical conditions, all of which interfered with my ability to fully engage in my life. At times, it was crippling. It was truly a mind and body approach that led me to where I am today – feeling healthy, calm, connected, and living in greater alignment with my values and desires. My journey continues as I believe there are always greater levels of health, vitality, and consciousness available to us.
I was drawn to support people through Hypnosis Assisted Healing (HAH) because it is a modality that allows us to connect with our mind and body in a more intimate way. I believe this type of connection with ourselves can help alchemize past internal wounds into opportunities for growth, freedom, and joy in our lives.
My approach draws from modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Somatic Experiencing (SE) and is also informed by polyvagal theory and the basic foundations of nervous system health. My essence is gentle, curious, kind, and compassionate.
Please note: Hypnosis Assisted Healing is not being provided under occupational therapy services.
